How does the assessment for the certificate work?
After you sign up and fill in our questionnaire to tell us about your symptoms your request will be reviewed by one of our doctors who will message you via our platform (no real time calls necessary) to discuss your symptoms to determine whether we can issue you a certificate. If you have any pertinent documentation such as a hospital discharge summary you can provide it to us. Following this our doctors will issue your certificate to your email if appropriate.
How will I be notified that a doctor has connected with me and is chatting to me?
You will receive an email from us when one of our doctors connects with you and sends you a message
Why might I not be able to get a medical certificate?
In certain circumstances our doctors may determine that you need to be seen in person by your GP or to attend A&E if its more urgent. In these circumstances we won’t be able to issue you a certificate and you will receive a full refund no questions asked.
How long does my certificate last for?
We issue medical certificates valid for 1 week from date of issue. You can request for your certificate to be backdated.
Will it be valid for my employer?
Yes – our medical certificates are private medical certificates that are certified by licensed UK doctors. They are valid in all circumstances except if your employer specifically requires a MED3 certificate which must be issued by a GP practice.
How do we manage your personal data?
We are fully GDPR compliant and you can ask us to remove any information we hold about you at any time
